Japanese Ambassador Meets With Young Journalists
On April 15th, 2022, the students of the Faculty of International Journalism of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan had a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Turkmenistan H.E. Hiroyuki Yamamoto. The event was dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the countries.
The meeting was also attended by senior instructor of the Department of World Languages of the Institute Maya Orazova. During the meeting, students asked the Ambassador questions about Turkmen-Japan relations developed for 30 years in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
During the meeting the Ambassador of Japan in Turkmenistan mentioned about future plans and events to develop Turkmen-Japan relations. In his speech he also shared interesting facts about unique Japanese culture, its customs and beautiful cities. The inspiring speech of the Ambassador arose interest and motivation in students to learn more about the country.
Throughout 30 years, Japan has successfully cooperated with Turkmenistan, partnered with different institutions of the country. Turkmen-Japan relations are consistently developing by taking into account mutual interests and the desire of the parties to strengthen constructive cooperation and deepen the friendship between our peoples, noted Japan Ambassador to Turkmenistan.
The consistent holding of such meetings is evidence of the enhanced bilateral relations between Turkmenistan and Japan.
