ADVOCACY MEETING
On December 13, 2024, an advocacy meeting was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan with the participation of teachers and students, the purpose of which was to increase the legal literacy of students, strengthen educational activities among young people, explanatory and educational propaganda of the principles of a healthy lifestyle and national moral values, prevent offenses, give up bad habits, as well as refuse to use firecrackers, fireworks and explosive materials that pose a serious threat to the safety, life and health of people.
The representatives of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan, the General Prosecutor's Office of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, the Central Council of the Women's Union of Turkmenistan, the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Makhtumkuli attendet to the conversation.
During the conversation, it was emphasized that the production, storage, acquisition and use of flammable, combustible, explosive, toxic substances and substances that pose a danger to the environment on the eve and during the New Year celebrations entail liability under the legislation of Turkmenistan. It was noted that during the New Year holidays, it is especially important for students to strictly adhere to the rules of conduct in public places and refrain from bad habits. Regularly holding such events is very important for increasing the level of legal literacy of students, using the positive experience and good traditions of the legal education system. The speakers expressed sincere gratitude to our esteemed Hero Arkadag and the President of Turkmenistan, esteemed Arkadagly Hero Serdar, for their special care for the youth of the country and assured that all young people will devote their strength, knowledge, abilities and aspirations to ensuring the further prosperity of the state, increasing the international authority of their native Fatherland.
