An advocacy meeting was held
On February 21, 2025, an advocacy meeting event was held at the Institute of
International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The
event was organized in collaboration with the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, the
Prosecutor General’s Office of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of
Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Health
and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan, the Women’s Union of Turkmenistan, and
the Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan.
The event was dedicated to the proclamation of 2025 as the "Year of International
Peace and Trust" and was conducted based on the valuable guidance and
recommendations of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the
Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Hero Arkadag, and Arkadagly Hero Serdar. Its
main objectives were to strengthen the harmonious development of youth in the
country, enhance their legal literacy, protect their rights and legitimate interests,
prevent legal violations, reduce crime and suicide rates, and promote the principles
of statehood and national traditions.
As part of the event, representatives of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, the Prosecutor
General’s Office of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of
Turkmenistan, the Central Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization of
Turkmenistan, and the Health Department of Ashgabat delivered speeches to
young people, explaining the inadmissibility of spreading false information, the
illegal use of restricted electronic resources, and the unlawful destruction of
information.
