A MEETING WITH THE SECRETARIAT OF THE KOREA - CENTRAL ASIA COOPERATION FORUM
On October 31, 2023 a meeting was held between the Secretariat of the Korea – Central Asia Cooperation Forum and the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan at the Yyldyz hotel in Ashgabat. The meeting was attended by the heads of educational and research institutions of the two countries, Rector of the Institute of International Relations J.Gurbangeldiev and Executive Director of the Secretariat of the Korea – Central Asia Cooperation Forum Lee Jong Kook.
At the beginning of the meeting, the parties got acquainted with the activities of two organizations. During the event, the parties discussed the issues of further development of cooperation in the areas of joint organization of future seminars, conducting research and scientific developments, including articles, textbooks, teaching aids and exchange of scientific research programs, as well as mutual invitations to participate in academic events.
In conclusion, both sides expressed their sincere faith that the discussions which took place during today’s meeting will be successful in terms of the exchange of scientific views on important issues between academic groups.
It is also worth noting that today’s meeting took place on the eve of a major event in Ashgabat – the upcoming 16th Korea – Central Asia Cooperation Forum.
