A Lecture on the Future Potential of Transport Strategy
On November 25, 2024, the Training Center for Key Areas of Turkmenistan's Diplomacy organized a lecture titled "The Significance of Implementing Turkmenistan's Transport Strategy in the Regional and Global Economy" at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The lecture was conducted by the Director of the Strategic Research Center of the Institute, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan, Shiri Shiriyev.
During the lecture, special emphasis was placed on the routes connecting China to Europe and the Middle East through Central Asia. Among these, the economic importance of routes such as China–Kyrgyzstan–Uzbekistan–Turkmenistan–Iran–Turkiye, extending further into European countries, and China–Tajikistan–Uzbekistan–Turkmenistan–Iran, leading to the Middle East, was discussed in details.
Additionally, students received answers to their questions and enhanced their knowledge of transport diplomacy.
