A TRAINING SESSION DEDICATED TO TRANSPORT-LOGISTICS SYSTEM
On November 23, 2024, training session entitled «The Caspian Sea – Black Sea International Transport Corridor» was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The session was organized by the Training Center for Priority Areas of Diplomacy of Turkmenistan. The training was conducted by Perhat Charyyev, a lecturer of the Department of International Economic Relations.
During the session, a detailed discussion was held on the economic significance of increasing cargo volumes transported through the ports of Turkmenbashi, Baku, Poti, Batumi, and Constanța, based on the outcomes of the meeting of Foreign Ministers from Turkmenistan, the Republic of Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Romania, held on March 4, 2019, in Bucharest. It was regarding the project to establish the «Caspian Sea – Black Sea» international transport corridor. It is worth noting that, as a result of the meeting, the Bucharest Declaration was adopted. Furthermore, the students had the opportunity to ask questions and enhance their knowledge about transport diplomacy.
