Seasonal cycle of classes in transport diplomacy
Improving the transport system today is one of the key areas of the Presidential Program for the Development of Transport Diplomacy of Turkmenistan for 2022-2025. At the Training Center for Priority Areas of Diplomacy of Turkmenistan, opened at the initiative of our highly esteemed President at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, classes are held at the highest organizational level in accordance with the specially approved curriculum of the course "Transport Diplomacy".
At the Training Center, lectures and seminars with participation of high-level experts have been organized and successfully conducted on the topics: “The idea of creating an international transport and transit corridor that connect regions the world, as one of the priorities of the balanced policy of the esteemed President”, “The importance of the activities of the ECO member states to facilitate the exit to open waters (international seaports) through the use of ports of countries that do not have access to the sea”, “The importance of the transport corridor “Afghanistan-Turkmenistan-Azerbaijan-Georgia-Turkey”, “The potential of the transport and transit corridor “Uzbekistan-Turkmenistan-Iran-Omar-Qatar”, “Potential of the international railways “Kerki-Imamnazar-Akina-Andkhoy and Serhetabat-Turgundi”, “Trade and economic significance of the railway “Kazakhstan-Turkmenistan-Iran”, “The significance of transport and transit cooperation in the direction of the Caspian Sea - Black sea". Students of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan took an active part in the classes. Special Certificates were awarded to students who actively participated in optional courses on transport diplomacy.
