TRANSPORT DIPLOMACY OF TURKMENISTAN – PEACEKEEPING FOR THE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS
Currently, transport diplomacy is one of the key vectors of the Foreign Policy Concept of Turkmenistan for 2017-2023. A clear evidence of this is the holding of seminars or lectures at the Educational Center on priority areas of diplomacy of Turkmenistan, functioning at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassadors of Turkmenistan.
On December 23, 2022, a seminar was held at this Center with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Malaysia Muhammetniyaz Mashalov.
During the seminar, the distinguished Ambassador told about the experience gained through the Turkmen-Malaysian relations, as well as the current state of cooperation and the development of bilateral relations in the future, as well as the cooperation of Turkmenistan with Malaysia in the development of hydrocarbon resources on the Turkmen Coast of the Caspian Sea.
The Ambassador also noted the geopolitical advantages and importance of Turkmenistan for the implementation of international projects in the field of transport and communications.
