WEBINAR ON THE TOPIC OF TURKMENISTAN’S PLACE IN THE REGION AND THE WORLD IN THE FIELD OF TRANSPORT AND ENERGY
On May 26, 2025, a webinar was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. It was dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Permanent Neutrality, the declaration of 2025 as the “International Year of Peace and Trust” by the UN General Assembly, and the role of youth in this context.
The students of the Institute, as well as the students and lecturers from Turkmenistan’s higher and secondary vocational education institutions, participated in it through the digital network.
During the online webinar, reports were presented by the senior lecturer of the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy, Hemra Arazmuradov, on the topic “The Policy of Permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan and Energy Diplomacy”, and the senior lecturer of the Department of International Economic Relations, Perhat Charyev, with a report on “The Role of the Implementation of Turkmenistan’s Transport Strategy in the Regional and World Economy”.
Participants were presented with a detailed presentation on Turkmenistan’s energy diplomacy, the importance of “Green” Energy, the country’s efforts in increasing the extraction and processing of fuel and energy resources, Turkmenistan’s international activities in strengthening strategic partnerships in the energy sector, as well as the work of international organizations in this area.
This webinar provided valuable experience for future specialists in the field of international relations.
