NOMINATION OF CANDIDATES
In Turkmenistan active preparations are underway for the most important socio-political campaign - the election of deputies of the Mejlis, the Kalk Maslakhaty, members of the velayat, etrap and city Gengeshes. Precinct electoral commissions, for whose employees training seminars are held, were created. The main principles of the election campaign are its wide alternativeness, publicity and openness.
On February 16, 2023, a meeting of the 1st election district "Garashsyzlyk" was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan to nominate a candidate from the Democratic Party. The most deserving, conscientious citizens of Turkmenistan, who care about the interests of our Motherland above all, enjoy the respect and trust of their compatriots, will be elected as deputies of the Parliament, members of the Khalk Maslakhaty and the Gengeshes. Representatives of the people will have to solve a wide range of tasks related to the further successful political, socio-economic and cultural development of Turkmenistan. In this context, the managing director of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan K.G. Babayev was unanimously elected as a candidate for deputy of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan from the Democratic Party in the 1st election district "Garashsyzlyk". The speakers presented the biography of the candidate, his reputation among the people and colleagues, business and organizational skills.
The upcoming elections, scheduled for March 26, will be an important step towards for democratic reforms launched in the country at the initiative of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and carried out under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. The success of these undertakings stimulated the accelerated development of the country, confidently moving towards new grandiose achievements along the path of progress and innovation.
