CULTURAL DIPLOMACY OF TURKMENISTAN: A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE
From May 27 to 30, 2025, the city of Aktau in the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted the International Scientific and Practical Conference “The Civilization of Turkic Peoples and Its Role in the History of World Culture” and the International Scientific and Practical Conference “The Totem of the Turkic World.”
On May 28, 2025, the Turkmen delegation took part in the International Scientific and Practical Conference “The Civilization of Turkic Peoples and Its Role in the History of World Culture”, held at the Sh. Yessenov Caspian University of Engineering and Technology in Aktau. At the plenary session, a presentation was delivered by Ogulkurban Sapargeldyevna Ezimova, Candidate of Philosophical Sciences, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Social Sciences of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
On the same day, members of the delegation also participated in a round table discussion and the opening ceremony of the Turkic Epic Festival titled “Song of the People and Valor.”
On May 29, 2025, the Turkmen delegation took part in the International Scientific and Practical Conference “The Totem of the Turkic World” in Aktau. At the plenary session of the conference, a speech was delivered by O.S. Ezimova, Candidate of Philosophical Sciences Senior Lecturer at the Department of Social Sciences of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The delegation from Turkmenistan was received with warm hospitality. The international scientific conferences were held at a high organizational level, demonstrating widespread interest, trust, and respect for the cultural heritage of nations. Special attention was paid to the key role of the cultural diplomacy of Neutral Turkmenistan in strengthening fraternal relations among peoples.
Participation in the conference and the exchange of experience became an important and effective event for the members of the delegation.
