Scientific-Practical Conference on the Occasion of the Constitution of Turkmenistan and State Flag Day of Turkmenistan
On May 13, 2022, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted a scientific-practical conference entitled "The Constitution and the National Flag of Turkmenistan: a Beacon of Sustainability" with the participation of teachers and students on the occasion of the Constitution of Turkmenistan and the National Flag Day of Turkmenistan. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Institute of State, Law and Democracy of Turkmenistan, teachers and students of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and other universities, as well as school pupils who are active members of the “School of Young Diplomats”.
At the plenary session of the conference, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Constitution of Turkmenistan and the National Flag Day speeches were made under the following themes - the celebration of stability and development, the National Guarantees of the Protection of the Rights of the Child, the Perfect Morality - a Developed Society and the Framework for the Development of a Democratic, Law based and Secular State.
The Scientific-Practical Conference continued its work in the sections after the plenary session. In the sections entitled "Improving the Legislative System of Independent Turkmenistan", "Constitutional Fundamentals of Economic Development of the Country", "Constitution of Turkmenistan and the National Flag - a symbol of peace, stability", numerous speeches were heard on the importance and impact of law enforcement and the improvement of property relations and rights in our country.
It has been 30 years since the founding of the Constitution of Turkmenistan in the Year of “The Era of the People with Arkadag”, along with the generally accepted principles, which embodies the ancient noble traditions of the Turkmen people. The Constitution of Turkmenistan, as an inalienable legal basis of our sovereign state, reflects the centuries-old aspirations of our people for unity, democracy, humanity, patriotism and justice.
