The Celebration of Turkmenistan’s Permanent Neutrality – A Guarantee of a Bright Future for Youth
On March 25, 2025, a conference titled "The Celebration of Turkmenistan’s Permanent Neutrality – A Guarantee of a Bright Future for Youth" was held at the Public Organizations Center of Turkmenistan. The event was organized by the Central Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan to mark the unanimous adoption of the Resolution on Turkmenistan’s Permanent Neutrality at the 61st plenary meeting of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
Students from the International University for Humanities and Development, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, and the Dovletmammed Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages participated at the conference.
Speakers at the conference proudly emphasized that Turkmenistan, by remaining steadfast in fulfilling its international commitments, has been recognized as a center for peacebuilding in the region and globally during the new historical era. Special attention was given to the role of Turkmenistan’s Neutrality in ensuring regional stability and security, fostering trust-based interstate relations, and strengthening both bilateral and multilateral cooperation.
Gulsenem Hommadova, the instructor of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, and Atamyrat Yazveliyev, the 3rd-year student of the Faculty of International Journalism, also delivered a speech at the conference. They discussed the international significance of Turkmenistan’s Permanent Neutrality in relation to their professional fields and expressed their heartfelt pride over the unanimous adoption of the resolution at the UN General Assembly.
During the conference, students actively engaged with the guests by asking questions of interest, making the meeting more interactive and dynamic.
The participants expressed their deep gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Hero Arkadag, and the Esteemed President Arkadagly Hero Serdar, for promoting the Turkmen model of neutrality worldwide. They wished to the Leader of Nation and our Esteemed President sound health, long life, and continued success in their great endeavors.
