Halk Maslahaty - a Perfect Example of National Diplomacy
On the 30 of September of 2023, the Institution of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan held a congress regarding the creation of Halk Maslahaty and the historical significance of its professional positions. The congress was attended by the new members of the scientific group called the "Young Journalists" from the Department of Theory and Practice of Journalism of the Institution of International Relations. The head of the Department of Theory and Practice of Journalism Jemile Purjaeva performed at the conference. In her performance, she talked about the development of our Turkmen nation, taking into consideration the historical experience of our ancestors, and, in order to solve the most important political, economical, and social problems based on our ancient traditions and universally recognized democratic principles, talked about the history of development of Halk Maslahaty as the highest unit of national legislative power, its significance and historical importance. She especially mentioned the problems that were presented during the Halk Maslahaty on the 24" of September of 2023. She also talked about the sacred duty of our teachers and youth of the National School of Turkmen Diplomacy, organization of important meetings with the students to talk about the political and social significance of Halk Maslahaty which serves as an example of national diplomacy.
