A CONFERENCE DEDICATED TO THE 35TH ANNIVERSARY OF INDEPENDENCE OF TURKMENISTAN WAS HELD
On September 16, 2026, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted a scientific-practical conference entitled “Achievements of Turkmenistan over 35 Years of Independence” dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the Independence of Turkmenistan. The event was organized by the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy together with the Institute’s Council of Young Scientists.
The conference was moderated by Gulsenem Hommadova, a lecturer at the Department of International and Comparative Law of the Institute. Presentations were delivered by Akmuhammet Jumagulyyev, Executive Secretary of the editorial board of the journal “Foreign Policy and Diplomacy of Turkmenistan” of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan; Shatmuhammet Ashyrmuhammedov, a lecturer at the International University for the Humanities and Development; Maral Orazglyjova, a lecturer at the Institute; and Guvanch Aliyev, a 3rd-year student of the Faculty of International Relations.
The speeches highlighted the achievements of the country during the years of Independence, the further strengthening of the state’s international prestige, and the key role of national Independence in the development of Turkmenistan.
At the conclusion of the conference, the participants expressed their sincere gratitude to the Hero-Arkadag and the esteemed President Arkadagly Hero Serdar for the opportunities created to strengthen the Independence of our Motherland and implement large-scale reforms in the country.
