MAIN DIRECTIONS OF TURKMENISTAN'S ENERGY DIPLOMACY
On November 15, 2024, a training course dedicated to the adoption of the Resolution titled “Zone of Peace, Trust and Cooperation of Central”, proposed by Turkmenistan at the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly, was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The training was conducted by the lecturer of the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy, Perhat Makhremov. The training course was attended by the member students of ‘Energy Diplomacy’, which is part of the Training Centre for Basic Diplomacy of Turkmenistan.
During the course, the lecturer spoke about Turkmenistan's international cooperation with the UN, highlighting its significance, the initiatives proposed by Turkmenistan in the Energy Diplomacy at the international level and its successful implementation in the field of international relations. As is known, on October 24, 2024, during the 25th Plenary Meeting of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly, the Resolution titled “Zone of Peace, Trust, and Cooperation of Central Asia,” proposed by Turkmenistan, was unanimously adopted.
The training course was highly effective, and students received detailed answers to their questions related to the topic under discussion.
