SCIENTIFIC AND CREATIVE CONFERENCE ON “TURKMENISTAN’S PARTICIPATION IN THE 80TH SESSION OF THE UN GENERAL ASSEMBLY AND THE PROPOSALS PUT FORWARD THERE”
On November 3, 2025, the “Young Diplomats” Scientific Club of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, jointly with the Central Council of Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly, held a scientific and creative conference dedicated to the United Nations Day, Turkmenistan’s participation in the 80th session of the UN General Assembly, and the proposals put forward there.
The purpose of the conference was to widely promote the long-term international initiatives of the Honorable President within the global political arena and to deepen young diplomats’ understanding of Turkmenistan’s peace-loving foreign policy.
Speakers included Bahargul Rahmanova, Public Information Assistant at UN Regional Centre for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia (UNRCCA); Annageldi Godorov, head of the Center for Information, Consulting, and Volunteering Activities under the Central Council of the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly; Arslan Charyyev, Head of the Department of International Relations at the International University for the Humanities and Development; and Aylar Nedirowa, a student of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The speakers emphasized the participation of the Honorable President of Turkmenistan in the solemn opening of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly—held during the International Year of Peace and Trust and the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Permanent Neutrality, coinciding with the 80th anniversary of the United Nations—and elaborated on his globally significant constructive initiatives.
At the end of the conference, the speakers answered the questions of the students interested in the discussed topics.
