A Meeting Dedicated to the Implementation of Quality Education (SDG 4) in Turkmenistan
On October 28, 2024, at the Scientific-Methodological Center for
Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the Institute of International Relations
of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, an expert from the Ministry of
Education of Turkmenistan spoke about the work being carried out to provide
high-quality education (SDG 4) in the country within the framework of achieving
the Sustainable Development Goals. Participants took part in a detailed training
session on implementing high-quality education (SDG 4) in Turkmenistan,
focusing on effective strategies.
The training introduced participants to education sector initiatives, including
reforms to improve educational facilities, integrate technology, and expand
educational services, aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals. The
session specifically covered ongoing reforms like infrastructure upgrades, teaching
method enhancements, technology integration, educational system streamlining,
and expanding educational services. The session included detailed case studies and
statistical data demonstrating the effects of these reforms. The conclusion of the
training session included an interactive question and answer session where
participants and the expert discussed challenges in education reform, sustainable
development strategies, and the future of educational initiatives in Turkmenistan.
