Opportunities for the development of hydrogen energy in Turkmenistan
On October 29, 2021, an online scientific-practical conference was held titled "Opportunities for the development of hydrogen energy in Turkmenistan" at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The members of the Scientific and Production Center "Renewable Energy Sources" of the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan, the Innovative Research and Training Center of the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas and the Training Center on priorities of Turkmen Diplomacy of Turkmenistan of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and as well as the professors, teachers and students of these institutions also attended this online scientific-practical conference.
At the scientific-practical conference, a number of comprehensive programs for the development of hydrogen energy in Turkmenistan were considered for discussing and the speeches were made on these issues. During the scientific-practical conference, the ideas of the professors, scientists and experts were embodied and their views and suggestions were also discussed. The speeches made by the participants focused on the positive policy pursued by our highly esteemed President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on the restoration of energy resources, the introduction of innovations in the field of hydrogen and energy-saving technologies.
The main purpose of this conference is to implement the Program for the Development of Energy Diplomacy of Turkmenistan for 2021–2025 and to review international priorities in the energy sector.
Thus, in the speeches, the participants underlined the main facts related to the hydrogen energy were an environmentally friendly and convenient energy source. The speeches of the scientific-practical conference made a great impression on the participants. This online scientific-practical conference was of great importance and interesting for the students.
