TURKMENISTAN AND THE UN: “PARTNERSHIP IN THE NAME OF PEACE AND DEVELOPMENT” SCIENTIFIC – PRACTICAL CONFERENCE HELD
On October 30, 2025 a scientific - practical conference titled “Turkmenistan and the UN: Partnership in the Name of Peace and Development” was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The conference was attended by Ogulgurban Ezimowa, senior teacher of the Department of Social and science, Candidate of philosophical sciences, Babahan Berdiyev, Aysoltan Jepbarova, teachers of the Academy of Civil Service under the President of Turkmenistan, Gultach Annayeva, Deputy Director for Treatment at the International Burn Centre of the Ministry For Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan, Merjen Berdiyeva, a postgraduate student at the Department of Human and Topographic Anatomy, and Operative Surgery of the Myrat Garryvev Turkmen Medical State University, Selbi Jumageldiyeva, the student of the Academy of Civil Service under the President of Turkmenistan, the Institute’s professors, lecturers and young students.
The speakers at the scientific – practical conference delivered speeches on the 80th anniversary of the General Assembly of the UN, a crucial stage in international efforts to strenthgen peace and stability, the role and importance of the policy of neutrality supporting and reinforcing international peace, security and the sustainable development process, and proposals for the creation of a regional center for climate change technologies in Central Asia. The presentations were enriched with its content.
At the end of the conference, the students addressed the participants with questions of interest to them. This impressive scientific – practical conference was of great significance in educating our young generation in the spirit of patriotism, peace – loving, goodwill and competence.
