10th Meeting of the National Commissions of the Member Countries of the International Turkic Culture Organization (TURKSOY) within the framework of UNESCO
On 16 May 2024, the opening ceremony of the 10th Meeting of the National Commissions of the Member States of the International Turkic Culture Organization (TURKSOY) for UNESCO was held at the Archabil Hotel in Ashgabat. The panel discussion on the possibilities of cooperation of the TURKSOY Member States within UNESCO continued.
The 10th Meeting of the National Commissions of the Member Countries of the International Turkic Culture Organization (TURKSOY) for UNESCO continued with the 8th Seminar on Cooperation in the Implementation of the UNESCO Convention for the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage; the 13th Seminar on Cooperation in the Implementation of the UNESCO Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage; the 6th Seminar on Cooperation of the Member States of TURKSOY in the Field of Science and Education within UNESCO; the Seminar on Cooperation in the Field of Education and Science within UNESCO; and the 6th Seminar on Cooperation in the Field of Education within UNESCO.
The Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted the 6th seminar on cooperation in science and education within UNESCO with the participation of experts. The meeting resulted in the adoption of the relevant final document.
At present, with the support of the distinguished President, Turkmenistan is pursuing its peace-loving foreign policy, taking many initiatives within the framework of various organizations and actively implementing them, as well as developing friendly ties with States members of those organizations. The holding in Turkmenistan of the 10th meeting of the National Commissions of the member countries of the International Turkic Culture Organization (TURKSOY) for UNESCO, which was an event of international significance, the elaboration of an effective decision within its framework and the unanimous adoption of the final document is a vivid confirmation of this.
