A TRANSLATION COMPETITION WAS HELD
On October 7, 2026, a creative competition titled “The Diplomatic Interpreter” was held on the occasion of International Translation Day. Competition was organized by the “Lingvo World” Scientific Club of the Department of World Languages of the Institute of International Relations. The second-year students of the institute participated in this competition to test their language and translation skills. During the contest, the future diplomats demonstrated not only their knowledge of foreign languages, but also their professional interpretation mastery in diplomatic relations and negotiations.
The main purpose of this event is to improve students' diplomatic translation and professional language skills, develop the scientific and practical abilities, and increase interest in international translation traditions. The competition was very interesting and competitive, creating an excellent opportunity for students to demonstrate their knowledge in practice and gain experience.
According to the results, the International Law Faculty won the 1st place, the International Economic Relations Faculty won the 2nd place, the International Relations Faculty won the 3rd place.
At the end of the competition, the students who stood out and their achievements were specially recognized. We sincerely congratulate our participating students and wish them success in their studies!
