“HISTORY - A CANDLE FOR THE FUTURE”
On December 24, 2024, at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, a competition and a scientific-seminar entitled “Taryh-Geljege şamçyrag (History - a Candle for the Future)” was held among the 1styear students of our institute. The competition was organized by the Scientific Club “Payhas and Parasat” of the Department of Social Sciences. At the beginning of the competition, Suray Akmyradova, the teacher of the Department of Social Sciences, announced the terms and conditions of the competition.
According to the terms of the competition, the participants introduced their team logos and provided an explanation for choosing those logos. After that, they demonstrated interesting presentations on the selected topics related to the history of Asian and African countries, answered the questions prepared by the organizers, and competed in their geographical knowledge.
According to the results of the competition, the students of the Faculty of International Relations, performing under the name “Musafir al-Zaman”, took 1st place.The team “Young Turkmens” of the Faculty of International Journalism took 2nd place and the team “Meiji Ishin” of the Faculty of International Economic Relations took 3rd place. The winners were awarded with diplomas and valuable gifts prepared by the Scientific Club “Payhas and Parasat”.
