OUR STUDENTS’ SUCCESS IN AN INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION
On May 15, 2026, the IV Open International Internet Olympiad in the subject ‹‹World Economy›› was held at the Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management among students of higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan and foreign countries.
During the Olympiad, participants demonstrated their knowledge and skills in the field of World Economy. A total of 142 students from 39 higher educational institutions representing Turkmenistan, the Federal Republic of Germany, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Belarus, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Tajikistan, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Republic of Azerbaijan, and the Republic of Turkiye took part in the competition. The increasing number of participants each year and the highly competitive nature of the Olympiad highlight its growing significance. The event plays an important role in strengthening friendship among young people, broadening their horizons, and enhancing their academic knowledge. The Olympiad lasted for one day, and the winners of the team competition were awarded with diplomas and letters of appreciation.
According to the results of the competition, the team led by Begmyrat Atayev, a lecturer of the International Economic Relations Department of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, received a Letter of Appreciation for their outstanding performance. Among the students of the Faculty of International Economic Relations, Aylar Jumayeva won second place, while Gulayym Bakyyeva secured third place. Davut Gezerov and Shanazar Ovliyagulyyev were awarded with Letters of Appreciation. This achievement clearly demonstrates the students’ strong commitment to education and science, as well as their ability to achieve significant success in their professional fields in the future.
