THE “STUDENT BEAUTY – 2026” COMPETITION WAS HELD AT THE INSTITUTE
On February 26, 2026, the institute stage of the “Student Beauty – 2026” contest was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The event was jointly organized by the Central Council of the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly, the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, and the Central Council of the Women’s Union of Turkmenistan in celebration of International Women’s Day.
The competition aims to showcase the talents, creativity, resourcefulness, spiritual richness, and the national traditions and culture of our people. The “Student Beauty – 2026” contest is traditionally held every year among female students of higher educational institutions across the country in honor of International Women’s Day.
Female students selected from various faculties took part in the competition.
According to the first task of the contest, participants expressed the vibrant spirit of the year “Independent, Neutral Turkmenistan − Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses” through songs, poetry, and theatrical performances, demonstrating their artistic and creative abilities.
In the final task, the contestants competed by preparing the traditional Turkmen dish unash (homemade noodles) based on the book “Bereketli Türkmen saçagy” (Blessed Turkmen Table) by the Hero Arkadag, and making embroidery under the slogan “Hünärim bar- hormatym bar” (I have a profession- I have respect). According to the results of the Beauty Contest, Bagul Durdyyeva, a first-year student of the Faculty of International Journalism was awarded first prize and earned the right to participate in the final stage of the competition. The winner and other outstanding participants were presented with souvenirs on behalf of the institute’s Women’s Organization.
