OUR STUDENTS’ SUCCESS IN SPORT
On February 20, 2026, The Ashgabat Open Karate-do Championship held in our capital, filled with great excitements. One of the outstanding athletes in the competition was Magtymguly Annayev, the first-year student at the Faculty of International Journalism of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. Competing in the Kumite category, the most dynamic discipline of Karate-do, in the weight of 60 kg class for seniors (18+), he took the third place. As well as, Resul Atajanov, the third-year student of the Faculty of International Economic Relations, competing in the Kata category, won the first place.
These achievements demonstrating the capability of our future diplomats to raise the flag of Turkmenistan in the International sport arenas, inspire the youth of our Institute to great enthusiasm.
