THE CONTINUED SUCCESS OF OUR STUDENT
On May 2, 2026, the results of the online Biology Olympiad for university students were finalized at Magtymguly Turkmen State University. The competition was organized with the aim of identifying talented youth in honor of the year "Independent Neutral Turkmenistan — the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses". Notably, the competition was held on March 18 of this year in accordance with the "Concept for Improving the Teaching of Natural and Exact Sciences in Turkmenistan" and the "Strategy for the Development of Higher Professional Education in Turkmenistan for 2026-2052" as well as its Implementation Plan for 2026–2030. Talented students from 15 higher education institutions across the country participated in the competition.
According to the results of this prestigious competition, Tanryguly Geldimammedov, a 3rd-year student of the Faculty of International Relations at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, managed to secure the prize-winning 3rd place. He was supervised by Sulgun Nepesova, a lecturer in the Department of International Economic Relations. This achievement clearly demonstrates the deep enthusiasm of the students for science and education, as well as their potential to excel not only in their chosen fields but also in other disciplines in the future.
