THE STUDENT OF OUR INSTITUTE IS THE CHAMPION OF TURKMENISTAN
Selimgeldi Amangeldiyev, the 1st year student of the Faculty of International Journalism of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, successfully performed at the Turkmenistan Youth Freestyle Wrestling Championship, an event dedicated to the year "Independent Neutral Turkmenistan - the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses" and achieved 1st place in the 57-kilogram weight category, which was held on February 16 -18, 2026.
Previously, Selimgeldi achieved the 3rd place in a Freestyle Wrestling competition among the Higher educational institutions of our country and he also took 1st place at the Ashgabat Open Championship.
Selimgeldi Amangeldiyev was awarded with the top prize - the Certificate of Honor and a medal by the State Committee for Physical Culture and Sport of Turkmenistan, by outstanding among his peers owing to his refined skills in technique and determination.
