Our Student Achieved First Place
Selimgeldi Amangeldiyev, the 1st year student of the Faculty of International Journalism of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, successfully performed at the Ashgabat Open Championship in freestyle wrestling achieved 1st place in the 61-kilogram weight category, which was held on December 3-4, 2025.
Selimgeldi Amangeldiyev also previously achieved 3rd place in the freestyle wrestling competition held within the framework of the XV Universiade among students of higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan in the same weight category. In this competition, dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Trust, Selimgeldi achieved the title of champion among wrestlers from various sports schools in our country, demonstrating his training, skills and determination.
According to the results of the tournament, he was awarded an Honorary Diploma by the General Directorate of Physical Education and Sports of Ashgabat city. Our institute congratulates Selimgeldi Amangeldiyev and wishes him new successes in the future!
