A TRAINING SESSION ON WATER DIPLOMACY WAS HELD
On October 20, 2025, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan held a regular training session on water diplomacy at the Training Center for Key Areas of Turkmenistan's Diplomacy. The session was led by Azat Seidibayev, Deputy of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, a member of the Committee Mejlis on Environmental Protection, the use of Natural Resources and the Agro-Industrial Complex, as well as a candidate of agricultural sciences.
During the training, the Deputy of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan spoke in detail about the ongoing improvement of national environmental legislation in our country in accordance with international environmental standards under the wise leadership of the Esteemed President. Additionally, he discussed about the legislative framework for combating water shortages and parliamentary cooperation in establishing a reliable water supply.
Following the training, students exchanged views with the expert on topics of interest to them.
