A SEMINAR ON PREVENTIVE DIPLOMACY WAS HELD
On April 21, 2025, a seminar on the topic of “UN Reforms” was held at the
Training Center for Priority Areas of Diplomacy of Turkmenistan of the Institute
of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan in the
area of “Preventive Diplomacy”. The seminar was conducted by Armands Pupols,
Adviser on Political Affairs and Human Rights of the UN Regional Center for
Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia.
During the lesson, Armands Pupols told the students in detail what reforms
had been carried out and how they help the Organization work more effectively.
Particular attention was paid to how reforms make the UN more effective in
solving modern problems and improving its activities in the world.
After the seminar, an active question and answer session took place, during
which the students received comprehensive explanations on the topics of interest to
them.
