A DISCUSSIN ENTITLED «FRIENDSHIP OF NATIONS – THE KEY TO GLOBAL PEACE»
On October 24, 2025, in honor of the establishment of the United Nations a discussion entitled «Friendship of Nations – the Key to Global Peace» was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan with the participation of the 1st year students and lecturers of World Languages Department. The event was organized by Department of World Languages of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
Lecturers from the Department of World Languages A.Satgeldiyeva, H.Nurmammedov, O.Gazakova and D.Atanazarov delivered speeches on topics “The Magic of the English Language”, “Russian Language is the Bridge of Friendship”, “The Role of French Language in UN and Teaching of French language in Turkmenistan”, “Cooperation between Turkmenistan and Arab Countries”.
During the meeting, speakers emphasized the importance of mutual respect, understanding and cooperation among nations in maintain global peace and security. Students actively participated in discussion, sharing their thoughts on UN’s role in promoting friendship and solidarities between peoples of different countries. The meeting helped young generation gain deeper understanding the role of foreign languages in promoting peace and security, values of peace and international partnership.
