To the Elections with Great Enthusiasm
Our Independent, permanently Neutral Motherland Turkmenistan is on the verge of one of the most important events in its history. On March 12, 2022 was held extraordinary national elections of the President of Turkmenistan.
On March 12, at the 2nd polling station of the Berkararlyk etrap of the city of Ashgabat, located at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, voting was held for candidates for the post of President of Turkmenistan. In accordance with the national electoral legislation and the norms of international law, students of the Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly and the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan actively participated on that important socio-political event, organized at a high level.
More than 200 students of the above-mentioned higher educational institutions from among those who took part in that festive political event voted for the first time in the elections of the President of Turkmenistan. Thus, they, using their constitutional right, fulfill their civic duty. In honor of this significant event, students at the age of 18, participating in the presidential elections for the first time, were presented with memorable gifts prepared by the First Trade Union Organization of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The current elections of the President of Turkmenistan were another clear proof of the continuous process of democratization of the modern Turkmen society. And, proceeding from this, our compatriots voted for the most worthy of the candidates running for the post of President of Turkmenistan, who will lead our Motherland and the entire Turkmen people along the path of further development and prosperity.
