EFFECTIVE COURSE IN JOURNALISM
On May 8-10, 2024, a training course on “News and Feature Writing for Digital Media” was organized by the OSCE Center in Ashgabat in the building of the organization's representative office in Turkmenistan. The teachers of the Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the National Institute of Sports and Tourism of Turkmenistan, the International University of Humanities and Development, as well as the country's media journalists attended the training course. The training session was moderated by the international experts Mr. Marek Beckerman from the UK and Mr. Vitali Ruhain from Belarus.
The main objective of the course was to improve the skills of national experts in the field of digital journalism. During the course, international experts gave a comprehensive understanding of the current state of digital journalism and its opportunities, using the example of world experience.
