WEBINAR DEDICATED TO THE PERMANENT NEURTALITY OF TURKMENISTAN WAS HELD
On October 7, 2025, the webinar entitled “Turkmenistan's Permanent Neutrality in the International Legal System” was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The webinar was led by Nurberdi Amanmyradov, Senior Lecturer of the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Turkmenistan. Students from all higher educational institutions and secondary vocational schools of our country participated in the lecture online.
Nurberdi Amanmyradov, an experienced diplomat, gave an interesting webinar to the participants concerning the peaceful foreign policy of our country at the international level, the principles of Permanent Neutrality and its significance in the international legal system. During the webinar, the senior diplomat noted that the Neutral Legal Status of our Independent State, which was recognized three times by the United Nations General Assembly, became the basis of the main domestic and foreign policy of Turkmenistan. Moreover, an experienced diplomat emphasized that neutrality is one of the most important parts for the provision of dynamic development of the economy and constant improvement of the quality of life of people.
The webinar provided highly valuable information in educating and training young specialists in the field of international relations and other fields.
