A sound mind in a sound body
On February 17, 2022, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted an educational and explanatory event to prevent the younger generation from developing harmful habits and to prevent seasonal, infectious and non-infectious diseases. The event was attended by doctors from hospitals belonging to the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan, professors and students of our institute.
Ogulmaral Allabayeva, a doctor at the Ashgabat Office of Sanitation and Disease Control, Sona Mammetdurdyeva, a doctor at the AIDS Center, Akbibi Tachmammedova, a doctor of narcology and psychology,Serdar Ismailov, a doctor of dermatological diseases, Ata Bopbyyev, a doctor of the news center of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan spoke out about the effect of bad habits on young generation, the harm of tobacco products and alcohol, the danger of HIV/AIDS to the society, the acute infectious diseases that spread in winter season and said that these things harm the health of a human body. They also advised against those diseases, physical education and sports. Events are often carried out in schools, institutions, and universities to prevent harmful and infectious diseases.
At the end of the event, the participants expressed their sincere gratitude to our National Leader who is making great efforts to live a healthy and prosperous life of our people and giving priority to human health.
