Students Attended a Cultural Event as Part of the Days of Culture of the Russian Federation in Turkmenistan
On October 17, 2024, a concert of classical music titled "Towards the Anniversary of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky" took place at the Palace of Mukam in the State Cultural Center as part of the Days of Culture of the Russian Federation in Turkmenistan. Alongside the capital’s residents, professors and students of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan attended the concert.
The performances featured works by P.I. Tchaikovsky and S.V. Rachmaninov, played by pianist Dmitry Masleyev, the winner of the XV International Tchaikovsky Competition and Laureate of numerous Russian and international competitions.
Additionally, as part of the Days of Culture, the Russian National Museum of Music prepared an exhibition titled "The Planet of Tchaikovsky," dedicated to the work of the great Russian composer. The exhibition displayed unique materials from the museum’s collection, including historical documents, personal belongings, photographs, and musical scores. The exhibition helped broaden the understanding of the Russian culture.
One of the important aspects of the Turkmen-Russian relations is the cultural and humanitarian ties, which have always served as a bridge of friendship and mutual understanding, uniting the two peoples. A vivid example of this is the grand celebration of the 300th anniversary of the great Turkmen poet and Eastern philosopher Magtymguly Fragi. This creative event is a testimony of the intention of the two countries to strengthen the friendship of our peoples, who have common historical and spiritual values, and to raise multilateral relations to a qualitatively new level.
