MEETING WITH THE AMBASSADOR EXTRAORDINARY AND PLENIPOTENTIARY OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION
On November 10, 2025, a meeting between G. Yusupova, Rector of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and Ivan Volynkin, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Turkmenistan was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. They discussed priority areas of partnership between Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation, including cooperation in science and education.
Following the meeting, the guest visited the "Culture of Peace" UNESCO Club and learned about the work of it. Then he was introduced to the workflow of the institute's educational studio. As we know, diplomatic relations between the two countries were established on April 8, 1992. Since then, cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation has developed based on the principles of mutual respect, equality, and mutually beneficial partnership.
