Seminar on Civil Defense
On October 31, 2023, a seminar on civil defense was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The training session was attended by the refresentatives of the Main Directorate of civil Defence and rescue operations of the Ministry of Defence of Turkmenistan.
The training seminar was organized for the purpose of the state program for the implementation of the main directions of state policy in the field of civil defence, approved by the resolution of the President of Turkmenistan dated March 1, 2019, “On the training and retraining of specialists of enterprises and organizations and the non-working part of the population for public defense" and "Protection from natural and man-made disasters", approved by the Ministry of Defense of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan on April 30, 2019.
During the meeting, they discussed the system of measures for preparing for defense and protection the population, the organization and procedures for civil defence. Also at the end the seminar students asked their questions.
