A Scientific–Practical Conference was Organized by the Department of Theory and Practice of Journalism
On December 5, 2025, a scientific–practical conference titled “The Significance of the Policy of Peace and Trust in Ensuring Security and Sustainable Development” was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, organized by the Department of Theory and Practice of Journalism.
At the conference, speakers emphasized that Turkmenistan’s peace-loving and good-neighborly foreign policy contributes to sustainable development in both the region and the international arena, strengthening friendly and cooperative relations in all directions. It was also highlighted that our country’s policy based on trust, mutual respect, and expanding cooperation is widely supported at the global level. In presentations delivered by the Magtymguly Turkmen State University, the International University for the Humanities and Development, and the Turkmen State Institute of Culture, the achievements of Turkmenistan’s peace policy in economic, social, environmental, and cultural spheres were scientifically analyzed.
During the conference, speakers noted that peace diplomacy is an essential condition for ensuring mutual trust between states and for universal prosperity. Scientific analytical presentations were also heard on Turkmenistan’s contributions to global peace through its international initiatives based on its Permanent Neutrality status.
At the end of the conference, gratitude was expressed to the speakers, and it was emphasized that such scientific–practical events will continue to be held regularly.
