Conference dedicated to the International Forum of Peace and Trust
On December 14, 2021, at Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, was held a conference dedicated to the International Forum of Peace and Trust, which was held on December 11 of this year in the capital's Congress Center under the title "Politics of Peace and Trust - the basis of international security, stability and development." It is worth noting that the first thematic session of the Forum was held at Institute of International Relations under the title "Policy of neutrality and preventive diplomacy in international relations: the experience of Turkmenistan and its significance."
The conference was attended by teachers and students of the Institute of International Relations. Begench Matliev, Vice-Rector of the Institute, Altyn Magtymova, Lecturer at the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy, Batyr Kairov, Lecturer at the Department of World Languages, and Arslan Syyahatov, the 1st year student of the Faculty of International Relations gave speeches in the conference. The speakers emphasized the importance of the positive neutrality of Turkmenistan in strengthening interregional and interstate relations, the strategic role of Turkmenistan in promoting multilateral diplomacy, as well as the efforts of Turkmenistan in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
It was also noted that the holding of the Forum, summing up the results of a wide international campaign within the framework of the International Year of Peace and Trust, will serve to restore values, ideological views and traditions of preserving and promoting peace.
