REPORTING MEETING OF THE UNESCO CLUB “CULTURE OF PEACE”
On February 10, 2026, a regular reporting meeting of the UNESCO Club “Culture of Peace” was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan with participation of Aybolek Kakabayeva, Referent of the Secretariat of the National Commission of Turkmenistan for UNESCO, and the members of the Club. The event aimed to promote the UNESCO values, expand youth participation in international cooperation and outline future priorities of the Club.
During the session, a detailed overview was presented on the multifaceted activities carried out by the Club in 2025. It was emphasized that during the reporting period, numerous conferences, round tables, awareness-raising events, as well as successfully implemented cultural and educational projects. These initiatives strengthened the students’ commitment to promoting cooperation between Turkmenistan and UNESCO, as well as the ideals of peace, dialogue and mutual understanding.
In her remarks, the representative of the Secretariat highly appreciated the Club’s achievements, noting their importance for further development of international cooperation.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the participants exchanged views on the activities planned for 2026 and outlined the tasks necessary to ensure their effective implementation.
