Lecture on the Foreign Policy and Diplomacy of the Ottoman Empire
On March 14, 2022, a lecture on the topic “Foreign policy and diplomacy of the Ottoman Empire” was held for schoolchildren participating in the 6th game of the 1st round of the intellectual competition “Young Messengers of Peace”. It was organized by the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
During the lecture, school students learned much about the topic and got information needed for the next round. Ahmet Annaberdiyev, senior lecturer of the Turkmen State Institute of Finance, made an interesting report on the history, domestic and foreign policies, diplomacy and culture of the Ottoman state. The speeches about the foreign policy of the Ottoman Empire, which left a big mark on history. The lecture was very interesting and informative.
At the end of the lesson, students were given the literature they needed in the next round of the competition. In short, such events are important in selecting future diplomats.
