An effectual lesson in preventive diplomacy
On March 15, 2024, the «Preventive diplomacy» training center of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, hosted a training lesson on «Non-Violent Methods of Resolving Military and Political Conflicts» in the vital aspects of diplomacy of Turkmenistan. The session was led by Kakajan Mommadov, a lecturer of the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan, Skilled Diplomat of Turkmenistan.
Throughout the course, K.Mommadov emphasized that conflicts should be resolved through conversation rather than by force, underscoring the significance of open and constructive dialogue in contemporary international relations. Furthermore, he shared his firsthand experiences and provided comprehensive insights into negotiations, encompassing their various types and structures.
At the conclusion of the instructional tutorial, students were afforded the opportunity to pose their inquiries.
