A SEMINAR ON PREVENTIVE DIPLOMACY WAS HELD
On April 16, 2025, a seminar on the topic of “UN Multilateral Diplomacy” in the direction of “Preventive Diplomacy” was held at the Training Center for Priority Areas of Diplomacy of Turkmenistan of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The session was conducted by Bahargul Rahmanova, Public Relations Assistant at the United Nations Regional Centre for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia (UNRCCA).
During the lesson, Bahargul Rahmanova told the students in detail about the key aspects of the UN multilateral diplomacy, including the key stages of the formation of the system of international relations and the role of the United Nations in shaping the modern world order. Particular attention was paid to the mechanisms and instruments used by the UN to maintain international peace and security, as well as the role of preventive diplomacy in conflict prevention and promoting cooperation in Central Asia.
After the seminar, an active question and answer session took place, during which the students received comprehensive responses to their inquiries.
