AN ONLINE SEMINAR WAS HELD
On April 22, 2025, an online seminar was held at the Institute of
International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of
Turkmenistan in honor of the declaration of 2025 as the “International
Year of Peace and Trust” and the celebration of the 30th anniversary of
Turkmenistan’s permanent Neutrality. This lecture was the part of a
project involving mutual diplomatic online lectures between partner
institutions: the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of
Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Kazy Dikambaev Diplomatic
Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The lecture was delivered by Orolbayeva Irina Abdyyevna,
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic
and Professor of the Department of International Relations and Law at the
Kazy Dikambaev Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
of the Kyrgyz Republic. Her lecture was titled “Development of Regional
Cooperation in Central Asia”.
Professors and students of the Institute of International Relations of
the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan attended the lecture.
During her presentation, the Ambassador emphasized that the main
objectives of regional policy are to strengthen good neighborly relations,
promote regional cooperation, and ensure active engagement at the
international level. Her presentation provided students with an
opportunity to develop practical skills in negotiation and conflict
resolution within the framework of diplomatic practice.
