ONLINE CONSULTATION
On September 16, 2021, an online consultation was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan to develop a comprehensive strategy to promote the "Water-Energy-Food-Environment" relationship approach and increase the capacity of the Murghab River Basin Council. Online consultation was organized by Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC). Ms. Ekaterina Strikeleva and Ms. Anna Inozemtseva conducted the online consultation, teachers of the Department of International Law and Comparative Law of the Institute of International Relations of the MFA of Turkmenistan also took part in the consultation.
The consultation covered such topics as establishing multilateral relations with the help of the training center for important areas of Turkmen diplomacy in the field of “Water diplomacy”, which is located at the IMO Institute of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, as well as training young specialists in water diplomacy, familiarizing students with the concept of water diplomacy and how it works.
