A SEMINAR DEDICATED TO TURKMEN-INDIAN COOPERATION WAS HELD
On December 25, 2024, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted another seminar within the framework of the Training Center for Priority Areas of Diplomacy of Turkmenistan. The seminar focused on the topic of "Energy Diplomacy". During the event, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Republic of India, Shalar Geldynazarov, delivered an overview lecture titled "Cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Republic of India, Interaction within International Organizations. Specifics of Diplomacy, Diplomatic Service, and Protocol Etiquette of the Country".
The seminar highlighted the importance of energy diplomacy within the system of international relations, the development and main directions of Turkmen energy diplomacy, including its practical significance within the framework of international cooperation conducted by Turkmenistan. The historical aspect of friendly relations between Turkmenistan and India, whose diplomatic relations were established on April 20, 1992, was also noted.
At the end of the seminar, students asked the speaker questions of interest and received detailed answers.
