TRAINING SESSION HAS BEEN CONDUCTED
On October 22, 2024, at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, a training course titled «Circular Economy» organized by the Training Center for Priority Areas of Diplomacy of Turkmenistan with participation of the Institute’s students. This course was conducted by Mahrijemal Mamedova, Lecturer of the Department of International Economic Relations of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The circular economy is an innovative economic model designed to promote sustainability by minimizing waste and making the most of available resources. Unlike the traditional linear economy, which follows a «take, make, dispose» pattern, the circular economy aims at creation a closed-loop system where products, materials, and resources are reused, remanufactured and recycled. This shift is essential in addressing global challenges such as environmental degradation, and climate change.
Increase of the production of goods that can replace imported products, increase of the volume of export goods of the country, and creation an electronic industry within the framework of the diversification of our national economy was discussed. During the training session the students also got answers to their questions and increased their knowledge on economic diplomacy.
