A TRAINING SESSION WAS HELD
On June 7, 2021, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Georgia Dovletmyrat Muratov conducted a video conference session for students of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan on the topic "Cooperation between Turkmenistan and Georgia in the transport and economic spheres". This session is a series of online courses organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan to further enhance the level of knowledge of students of the Institute of International Relations related to diplomacy.
The training was conducted in Russian, during which the Ambassador spoke in detail about the past, present and future cooperation of Turkmenistan with Georgia in the spheres of transport and economy. In addition, during the session, the importance the international transport and transit corridor "Afghanistan – Turkmenistan – Azerbaijan - Georgia - Turkey" (Lapis Lazuli) was highlighted.
At the end of the session, the students had an opportunity to ask questions and exchange views on the issues of further development of friendly and mutually beneficial cooperation between Turkmenistan and Georgia.
